The Association rejects any unauthorized initiatives
Official Statement – The European Association for Victims of Violence dissociates itself from unauthorized initiatives
Following recent news circulated on social media regarding alleged tournaments and unofficial fundraising activities, the European Association for Victims of Violence firmly distances itself from any initiative not organized or formally authorized by the Association.
The Association reiterates its commitment to promoting transparent, verifiable activities fully compliant with current regulations. Starting in 2025, following the passing of Pope Francis, the annual tournament has been dedicated to his memory, with the aim of supporting local organizations through official and properly declared fundraising initiatives.
Next Tournament Edition
May 16, 2026 – Second Edition
In memory of Pope Francis · Under the patronage of public institutions
The second edition will include the participation of Law Enforcement Agencies, Carabinieri, Guardia di Finanza, State Police, the Diocese, and the Association itself. As determined by the Board, the proceeds will be allocated to an already existing fundraising initiative organized by Massimo Pucci and officially verified.
Verification and Transparency
Before supporting the fundraising initiative, the Coordinator Stefano Della Pina and Attorney Nicoletta Cervia, official spokesperson of the Association, carried out thorough checks regarding the seriousness and purpose of the initiative. All information is officially published on the Association’s website, ensuring maximum transparency.
