AEVV in Ukraine
Dear supporters of AEVV,
We are excited to share with you a significant moment in our commitment to combat gender-based violence. Recently, we had the opportunity to deliver a miniature model of the red bench in Ukraine, a tangible symbol of our protest against gender-based violence.
The red bench has become an international icon of resistance and solidarity, a visible reminder of the need to end gender-based violence in all its forms. It represents the voice of victims who often remain silent, their cry for help and hope for a future free from violence and oppression.
But we don't stop there. We are in negotiations to have the first full-sized red bench built in Odessa. This bench will not only be a symbol but also a place of reflection, support, and solidarity for victims and those who stand by them.
Our mission goes beyond mere symbolism. We will continue to work tirelessly to raise awareness, provide support to victims, and advocate for policies and laws that protect everyone from violence.
